Zachary Simpson, LVT

Zach has been a technician since graduating from SUNY Canton in 2004. In his spare time he enjoys riding horses; volunteering with the Hannawa Falls Fire Department; and being a member of the High Falls Masonic Lodge.

 

 

Mindi Cornell, LVT

Mindy has lived in upstate New York her entire life. She graduated from SUNY Canton with her degree in Veterinary Science in 1999. Later she went on to get her Bachelor's degree in Animal Science and her Master's degree from SUNY Cobleskill .

Brooke Beatty, LVT

Brooke resides in Russell, NY with her two horses, two dogs and one cat. She completed the Veterinary Science Technology Program in 2006, then she graduated from SUNY Potsdam with her Bachelor degree is science and biology in June 2009. She is interested in behavior and raising all baby creatures. She enjoys the outdoors; reading; and spending time with her animals.

Fawn Burr, LVT

Fawn attended Norwood-Norfolk Central School and then completed SUNY Canton's Veterinary Science Technology Program. She takes special interest in drawing blood; helping with surgery; and anesthetizing animals. Additionally, she enjoys learning about uncommon medical conditions. Outside of veterinary work, she loves to ride 4-Wheelers; hike mountains and rivers; play baseball; and take her dogs swimming and for long walks. Fawn recently became a mother with the birth of her daughter, Ariana, in May!

Linda Akatsu, LVT

Originally from Southern California, Linda has a Bachelor's of Arts in Sociology from the University of California at Irvine. She is a recent graduate from SUNY Canton's Veterinary Science technology program. There she graduated with highest honor, was a member of Phi Theeta Kappa and the International Honor Society. Linda did her internship at Cornell University's Animal Health Diagnostic Center and Cornell Univerisity's Hospital for Animals. Linda used to work at the ASPCA in Manhattan.

Alexis Wright, LVT

Alexis is the newest addition to the Canton Animal Clinic Staff. She is a 2005 graduate of Hermon-Dekalb school. After high school, she attended SUNY Canton for 4 years and graduated in May of 2009. Alexis has been a licensed veterinary technician for 1 year and is very excited about starting her career. Animals are her passion, and she has 1 pet at home, a cow mix named Josie, who keeps her busy. In her free time, she likes to spend time with her family and friends, ride her motorcycle, go shopping and cook.

Miranda Tynon, LVT

Miranda is a 2007 graduate of Ogensburg Free Academy and a 2009 graduate of SUNY Canton. She has been a licensed vet tech since May 2009. Miranda always loved animals and believes she's fallen into the right career. She has 3 dogs at home, one black lab and 2 pomeranian puppies. Miranda loves spending time with friends and family. In her spare time Miranda enjoys shopping and outdoor activities.

Erin Sweeney

Erin lives in Canton. She enjoys reading knitting and raising calves on her family's farm.
