Dr. Amy Thompson

amythumbDr. Thompson attended Purdue University and graduated in 2002 with a DVM. She was raised on a dairy farm in Delhi, NY where her father still milks 55 registered Jerseys. As a member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners, Dr. Thompson has a special interest in bovine reproductive ultrasound. She and her husband live locally and own a beef farm.

 

Dr. Lisa Bancroft

lisathumbDr. Bancroft attended Cornell University for her undergraduate schooling, then SUNY Potsdam to earn her Master's degree in Biology. She taught high school Biology and Chemistry for six years before returning to Cornell to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. Dr. Bancroft specializes in chiropractic care and is certified in animal chiropractic by the American Veterinary Chriopractic Association. Outside of veterinary medicine, she enjoys golfing, kayaking, biking and gardening. Dr. Bancroft lives with her husband, two children, two Labrador Retrievers, a German Shephard and two cats outside of Morristown, NY.

Dr. David Speer

drspeerthumb Dr. Speer attended Purdue University and graduated in 1963 with his Bachelor's degree in Agriculture and then again in 1964 with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine. While attending Purdue, Dr. Speer was also a member of the Phi Zeta Honor Society. Further, he is a member of the American Association of Bovine Practitioners. Dr. Speer's hobbies outside veterinary medicine include fishing, hiking, snowshoeing and hunting.

 

Dr. Roger Cook

rogerthumbDr. Roger Cook is a Dairy and Small Animal Practitioner.  Dr. Cook attended and graduated Parisville-Hopkinton in 1960; Cornell's College of Agriculture in 1964; and from the Cornell College of Veterinary Medicine in 1967. Married in 1971, he lives with his wife, Amy, on her family farm in Gouverneur.  They have one son who resides in Washington D.C. and works as an analyst at the International Trade Commission.  Roger has been working for Dr. Speer since the late 1980's.  In his free time he enjoys many outdoor activities and camps at Lake Ozonia.

Dr. Mary Daniels

Dr. Daniels is originally from Whittemore, Michigan. She was raised on her family's 300 cow dairy farm. She graduated with her DVM from Michigan State University in May 2008. In her spare time, she likes to go horseback riding, cook and visit friends. She currently owns a Quarterhorse gelding and a chinchilla.

 

Dr. Carie Telgen

cariethumbDr. Carie Telgen attended University of Wisconsin-Madison and Cornell University for her undergraduate degree in Animal Science. She worked as a herdsperson on a 600 cow dairy for one and half years before attending Purdue University for veterinary school. Dr. Telgen grew up on a 150 Holstein cow dairy in Shoreham, Vermont and still has a small herd of her own. She has a particular interest in bovine production medicine and in her free time enjoys many outdoor activities and sports.

Dr. Jessica Scillieri

jessicathumbJessica Scillieri was born and raised in Los Angeles, CA and always knew she wanted to be a veterinarian. She went to college at the University of Vermont and fell in love with dairy farming and showing cattle. For veterinarian school she attended Tufts University in Grafton, MA where she spent many hours with the large animal ambulatory service. She enjoys cattle work and has an interest in embryo flushing and transfer. She lives in Canton with her two cats Oleander and Tarragan.
